Meet Iceyaunna! She is an amazing person with a personality that naturally draws people to her, and her smile can light up a room. Always respectful and hardworking, Iceyaunna is a true leader in the classroom. She enjoys helping her peers and teachers, serves as a wonderful teacher’s assistant, and knows the daily routines inside and out. Our Girls and Boys Cross Country teams competed in the Pontotoc XC Invitational today. Carly Stricklen received a TOP FINISHER T-shirt. The other fastest times for our girls' team were Daniella Najera and Journee Jackson. Our boys' team fastest finishers were Tanner Seal, Parker Brimmage, and Hayden Garrison.

Sixty-four (64) 10th grade students attended the Oxford-Lafayette County College & Career Fair this morning in Oxford. All of our students were exposed to a number of colleges, businesses, and new inventions. Thank you, Mr. Harris and Ms. Payne, for planning and organizing this event.

Future Friday looked a little different today. The Wildcats welcomed Melissa Ownby from the Mississippi School of the Arts. MSA is a one-of-a-kind, tuition-free residential high school designed for creative and talented students who are passionate about the arts.
