Our Technical and Workplace Writing class just completed a unit on professional memos. As the final product for this unit, students created memos to their favorite teachers. Students described the impact specific teachers made on their lives and created "rewards" for their favorite teachers. While the rewards weren't real, they were from the heart. Rewards included an all-expenses-paid trip inside a cell for our Biology teacher, a gym makeover with all expenses covered for the best basketball coach, and lots of days off, cups of coffee, and hugs. The students loved showering these superstars with a little attention and lots of appreciation.

On the 28th day, her patience is officially superhuman. She has survived 28 years of high school senioritis, prom drama, and yearbook editing. She still hasn't locked her door and hidden from everyone. #wildcatstothetop

On the 27th day of school, we tried to solve for x to figure out how Mrs. Smith has survived 27 years of teenagers, but the math just doesn't add up. #wildcatstothetop

Our Cross Country team had TWO Top Finishers and TWO FIRST PLACE TROPHIES at the Senatobia Meet today. Juliana Dickey and Cristian Jimenez received t-shirts for their outstanding performances. Our girls AND our boys teams received First Place trophies for the 1-3A divisions. This is the first ever trophy for our Boys team. The top five girls were Juliana Dickey, Addison Treadway, Journey Jackson, Trinity Wooten, and Alondra Luevano. The top five boys were Cristian Jimenez, Hayden Garrison, Edgar Jimenez, Jordan Morales, and Brayden Allred.
