IHS Betas are headed home. Our Robotics team is the National Champion and we are very proud of them (Members are Maddie Mayer, Hailey Muniz, Kaleb Williams, Ian Gross, Ramon Medina and Austin Eddie. Ian Gross accepted the award for the team) We placed 2nd in Beta serves (accepting the award - Austin Eddie). And earlier in the week Cheyenne Young placed 6th in Colored Photography and Townsend Keizor placed 8th in Agriscience. Last night part of the group attended a special showing of the Grand Ole Opry.

All Tate County School District offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

We hope all of our families and staff enjoy this day of reflection and celebration. Our offices will reopen with regular business hours on Monday, June 22.

Congratulations to our Varsity Cheerleaders! We had seven tryout and make All American this week at Arkansas State. These ladies now have the opportunity to travel and perform with other All American cheerleaders. Libby Taylor was chosen for the Pin it Forward award by their UCA team leader. We are proud of your hard-work! Addyson Barksdale, Irelynn Chambers, Michae'a Collins, Layla Love, Alden Self, Je'Mia Tellis, and Isabella Tramontozzi.

Our Varsity and Jr High Cheer teams had a great final day at Arkansas State. Jr High received 3rd place overall for Game Day Routine, 4th place in Dance, and 2nd place in Sideline/Cheer! Our Varsity Squad won 3rd place overall in Game Day Routine for Large Varsity. Great job ladies!

Good luck on Day 3 to our Varsity and Jr High Cheer teams! They received a spirit stick yesterday and both teams won a Game Day Ready Blue ribbon for their Cheer and Sideline routines. Great job ladies!

Good luck to our IHS Bass Fishing Team as they fish the State Tournament tomorrow at Sardis Lake. They will blast off at 5:30 am. and weigh-in at 3pm at Engineer Point. Go Indy Anglers!
