Independence High School welcomed Paris Jamison, a 2017 alumna, to all three College & Career Readiness classes this morning. Ms. Jamison, a licensed funeral director and embalmer with Funeral Community Directors, explained the requirements needed to work in this career as well as duties and responsibilities. She also explained the embalming process and answered numerous questions regarding this unique profession. Also welcoming Ms. Jamison was her mother, Lontina Jamison, who teaches physical education at East Tate Elementary.
Title One Meeting and Beta Induction is rescheduled for January 26th.

Austin, Ian, Madalynn, Gabriella, Chris, and Peyton - what an awesome way to kick off Christmas vacation! Our Wildcats are making a difference for Make A Wish!
